Covid-19 Travel Resources

The following information is intended to help Silver passengers as they prepare to travel.
Silver makes an effort to update the resources as often as possible, but this information is supplemental to the requirements put out by each destination's authorized government health officials. 

Domestic Travel

There are currently no travel restrictions when traveling domestic with Silver, but CDC recommends the following ,"Delay travel until you are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated and must travel, follow CDC’s recommendations for unvaccinated people."

TSA has extended the Travel Mask Mandate until January 18, 2022. More information on TSA requirements can be found on their website.  

 

U.S. Entry Requirements

CDC requires all travelers arriving from international destinations to show proof of a negative Covid test or documentation from a medical professional stating recovery from a positive case.
The CDC order, found here, states.
"All air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens and fully vaccinated people, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 3 days before travel or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months before they board a flight to the United States."

 Bahamas
As of August 6 2021,  All travelers above the age of 2 will be required to get a Covid-19 PCR test no more than 5 days prior to the date of arrival. Health visa is also required. Refer to the Bahamas official website for information on how to upload your test results and more detailed information.
 British Virgin Islands
Starting October 1 2021, Fully vaccinated travelers do not have to apply to enter on the BVI Gateway Portal. A Covid-19 test is still required before arriving. More information can be found here.
 Dominican Republic
Most travelers do not need to present a negative Covid-19 Test. For more information on the randomized testing program upon arrival and other travel requirements visit Go Dominican Republic.
Dominica
 All travelers are required to submit a health questionnaire at least 24 hours prior to arrival. PCR tests are required for vaccinated travelers, while non-vaccinated travelers are subject to a quarantine upon arrival. For more information look here.
 St. Kitts
 Currently, only fully vaccinated travelers will be allowed entry into St. Kitts. Find more information on testing requirements and Exemptions for citizens, residents and travelers under 18 who are non-vaccinated here.
 St. Maarten
 A Mandatory Health Authorization Form is needed for every visitor. More information can be found here.
 Puerto Rico

U.S Virgin Islands
 
 An approved Covid-19 test is needed to travel to USVI, more information can be found here.

MANDATORY MASK REQUIREMENT: All Silver and Seaborne customers and employees must wear face coverings over their nose and mouth while within airport facilities, boarding, disembarking, and onboard aircraft. Plastic face shields may be used in addition to a mask but are not approved mask replacements. Any mask with an exhaust valve is not approved as an acceptable face mask.

Customers with unique mask requirements should bring the appropriate face covering that best meets their needs.

Customers with underlying conditions that explicitly prevent the wearing of a face covering or mask are strongly encouraged to reconsider travel or should be prepared to provide documentation and evidence of safe travel prior to departure at the airport. If you require this exemption, please arrive early to complete the process during check-in and avoid missing your flight – this process can take over one hour. Please arrive early to allow additional time. Mask exemptions only apply for travel on flights operated by Silver Airways and Seaborne Airlines and do not exempt customers from any requirements that may be imposed by governments, including local, state or foreign countries, (at the origin or destination) or from requirements on other airlines.

Any false claims of a disability or health condition to obtain an exemption from wearing a mask or face covering may result in the suspension of travel privileges on any Silver/Seaborne operated flight for the duration of the mask/face covering requirement.

TSA has extended their face mask requirement for individuals across all transportation networks throughout the United States, including at airports, onboard commercial aircraft, on over-the-road buses, and on commuter bus and rail systems through September 13. These requirements are part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing customer and team member well-being in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Always remember to avoid travel if you are showing symptoms of respiratory illness or traveling from a restricted area.
